IFM Quality Services Pty Ltd is a dynamic company dedicated to all aspects of laboratory quality assurance. IFM is sought after by a wide range of organisations including accreditation bodies, regulatory bodies, government agencies and private companies.
As a fully independent, privately owned company, they guarantee services that are objective, impartial and completely confidential. Their mission is to help laboratories improve and maintain the quality of their analyses by providing laboratory quality products and services. Their means of achieving this goal are to offer proficiency testing programmes, reference materials and consulting services.
Their commitment to quality is evident in the fact that they are the first company in Australia and one of the first in the world to achieve accreditation to ILAC Guide 13: 2000 (based on ISO Guide 43-1 for proficiency testing providers).
Proficiency testing, interlaboratory testing, ILC, EQA, external quality assessments, quality assurance programs, round robins, QC programs, QAP, PT, PTP, interlab are all names for similar activities.
Their approval was initially granted in April 2000 by the National Association of Testing Authorities in Australia. Now they are accredited by A2LA (A2LA certificate number is 3189-02).
