HANNA HI98713-02 Portable Turbidimeter

Designed for water quality measurements with low turbidity. The HI 98713 measures the turbidity of a steel in a range of 0.00 to 1000 FNU. An effective algorithm calculates the output of the detectors and converts them to FNU. Depending on the required accuracy, you can choose from normal measurement, continuous measurement or average measurements. The optical system, the infrared method (ISO 7027), consists of an infrared LED and two detectors (diffused and transmitted light), which ensure long-term stability and minimize stray light and color interferences. It also compensates for variations in LED intensity, which means that less calibration is required. The 25 mm round cuvettes, made from special optical glasses, guarantee repeatability and consistency of the measurements. HI 98713 has full GLP (Good Laboratory Practice) functions that allows traceability of the calibration state. Last calibration points, time and date can be checked at any time by just one key. HI 98713 has a user-friendly interface with an uncomplicated, large illuminated LCD screen. On-screen codes guide the user step by step in routine operation and calibration. With the instrument's logging function, up to 200 measurements can be stored in the internal memory and viewed at any time. For further storage or analysis, data can be downloaded on a PC via one of the two available ports: RS232 or usb. For advanced field applications, the HI 98713 is equipped with Fast Tracker Tag Identification System (TIS), making data collection and management easier than ever.
