The 3M Enrichment Pouch with 225 ml Modified Buffered Peptone Water Broth is a sturdy sample bag, ideal for sample preparation and enrichment procedures. Designed to meet stringent laboratory requirements, this bag is strong enough to handle the sample preparation process, the treatment process and mechanical mixing. The bag is pre-measured with 225 ml enriched broth, and is ready for use. Mixing is no longer necessary.

It is sufficient to add and homogenize the sample. The flat bottom ensures that the bag without holder remains upright, even when open, allowing the technician to work with both hands. The buffered peptone water broth has been modified by the addition of pyruvate (mBPWp) and the acriflavin-cefsulodin-vancomycin (ACV) supplement used to isolate the Enterohemorrhagic E.coli (EHEC) in the food samples.
