3M Petrifilm E.coli count plates - Nutrient media suitable for E.coli/Coliform counting. These ready-to-use culture media are counting plates used for microbiological determinations. 3M provides a better way to detect these Coli bacteria, they simplify the testing process, give accurate results in much less time.

The all-in-one method makes it a time-saving alternative to agar and petri dishes at processors. The coliform count can already be seen between 24-48 hours. Coliforms are red or blue colonies with gas bubbles. The E.coli are blue with gas bubbles.

By using these plates, no anaerobic equipment is needed, as with other traditional agar methods.

This sample-free culture medium system makes colony counting in food and beverage samples much easier.
