3M Petrifilm Rapid Aerobic counting plates are the indicator test suitable for measuring the micro-organism content in the food production environment and in foodstuffs. Petrifilm Rapid Aerobic count plates are intended to ensure quality and reduce food spoilage.

They contain nutrients, a cold-soluble gelling agent and a dual-sensing indicator that easily counts colonies in just 24 hours. This means more time, faster results and less labour needed for colony counting.

• All other foodstuffs: 24 hours ± 2 hours at 35°C ± 1°C
• Dairy powders, including whey powders: 48h ± 3h at 32°C ± 1°C

Optimal pH range: > 5.0
