Square bottle 1L Polycarbonate sterile 24pcs

Corning's square polycarbonate storage bottles are easier to handle, take up less space (13-20%) on the shelf or in the autoclave and are ideal for mixing, sampling and storage.

Note: These square polycarbonate bottles should NOT be used with bottle cap filter units, or in other applications involving vacuum pressure, as breakage may occur. DO NOT tighten the caps immediately after autoclaving, as the vacuum created by cooling may cause breakage. Strong polycarbonate bottles are more break-resistant than other glass or plastic bottles. Use a linerless, 45 mm one-piece autoclavable orange GL45 polypropylene plug seal cap with thread.

Shielded white enamel scale is easier to see than molded scale. Sterilized by gamma radiation. Large white marking spot for easier identification Bottles can be autoclaved once at 121C and 15 psi. Repeated autoclaving weakens polycarbonate and is not recommended.

Optional reusable caps with silicone septa (Corning Art.No. 1395-45HTSC, 1395-45SS, 1395-45TS) for syringe sampling or reagent insertion are available for these caps.

Note: Most GL45 screw caps for glass storage bottles have a different seal design and will not provide a secure seal when used on these plastic bottles unless they have a rubber liner.
