The HI 98703 meets and even exceeds the requirements of the USEPA Method 180.1 for waste water and Standard Method 2130 B for drinking water. The HI 98703 measures the turbidity of a sample in a range of 0.00 to 1000 NTU (Nephelometric Turbidity Units). An effective algorithm calculates the measurements and converts them into NTU. The instrument has an EPA-capable measurement mode that completes the measurements to meet EPA reporting standards. Depending on the measurement conditions and the required accuracy, you can choose between normal, continuous or average measurements. HI 98703 has GLP (Good Laboratory Practice) functions that allow traceability of the calibration state. The last calibration points, time and date can be checked by a single key. HI 98703 has a user-friendly interface with an easy-to-read, large illuminated LCD screen. On-screen codes guide the user step by step with routine operation and through calibration. Thanks to its logging function, up to 200 measurements can be stored in the internal memory and reviewed at any time. To further store and analyze the data, they can be downloaded on a PC via USB. For advanced field applications, the HI 98703 is equipped with Fast Tracker Tag Identification System (TIS) making data collection and management easier than ever.
