Mussel Bacillus cereus selective agar is used for the detection and enumeration of spores and vegetative forms of Bacillus cereus in foodstuffs. The standard formula corresponds to the composition of MYP agar (with mannitol, egg yolk and polymyxin) as defined in NF EN ISO 7932 and NF EN ISO 21871". Mussel's formulation allows the detection of even small numbers of Bacillus Cereus.
