Glucose agar allows the detection of glucose fermentation (with or without gas production) as a test for the identification of Enterobacteriaceae or Pseudomonas, within the framework of the application of standard methods NF ISO 21528-1 and NF ISO 21528-2 for the detection and enumeration of Enterobacteriaceae, and ISO/TS 11059 for the enumeration of Pseudomonas spp.
