Yeast extract agar, known as Plate Count Agar or PCA, is used in food bacteriology for the enumeration of aerobic bacteria in foodstuffs, animal feed products and environmental samples. It is also used for the enumeration of psychrotrophic micro-organisms. Packaging: 20 x 90 mm plates.
